sometimes.
oh, sometimes i feel antsy.
and need to stop what i’m doing.
and just go out and take photos.
to see the world through the eye of my lens
and not with my real eyes.
because so often, my real eyes lie to me.
sometimes my lens is the only thing that can
see what this life is all about.
it sees what my eyes can’t see.
doing this
gives me a smaller focus.
i’m more tuned in.
and i am here.
in the right now.
even if for that brief moment
as the shutter in my camera snaps.
check out marti’s blog
she’s a lovely friend
and she so boldly reveals
her goof-ups on her blog.
picture me {im}perfectly
is a weekly project to reveal
that we don’t have it all together.
i will post a
picture me {im}perfectly
blog post every wednesday
where you will be able to link up to your blog
revealing that:
you are not picture perfect,
your kids are not picture perfect,
your house is not picture perfect,
your crafts are not always picture perfect,
let’s
encourage,
inspire and
remind
other women
that none of us have it all together.
add my button to your blog post
and link up to your direct posting
and feel encouraged.

we are
all women,
all wives,
all followers of Jesus.
oh, how blessed we are.
one newlywed.
one army wife.
one has her own letterpress studio.
one attempting to capture motherhood (me).
i will put each of our daily
thankful photos
on my blog.
to share with all of you.
we’d love for you to join in this journey.

my most talented husband
is a writer.
and he wrote this book
DON’T MESS WITH TRAVIS
which came out in may.
well, today, he wrote this article
that you will want to
most certainly check out.
